This Privacy Policy explains how Meridian GMT ("Meridian GMT", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit meridiangmt.com, contact us, subscribe to updates, or interact with our products, community, and support channels.

The Site supports Meridian GMT pre-order pages and a cart that hands checkout to Shopify. Shopify and its payment partners process checkout, payment, tax and shipping calculation, order confirmation, receipts, and order records. Meridian GMT receives the pre-order, customer contact, shipping, billing-status, and order details needed to manage pre-orders, provide support, prepare fulfillment, and keep required business records. If a product is clearly labeled as fulfilled by The Flight Sim Factory, the order and delivery details needed to fulfill that product may also be shared with that partner. Shopify's privacy information is available at shopify.com/legal/privacy.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health data, biometric data, or information about children through this website.

4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Privacy Choices
Strictly necessary storage is used to remember privacy choices, dismissible interface preferences, and security or functionality settings. Optional analytics and marketing storage are disabled unless you opt in through Privacy Choices.
The preorder cart uses local browser storage to remember the products and quantities you add before checkout. Shopify may set third-party functional and payment cookies during cart, checkout, payment, fraud-prevention, and order-confirmation flows.
We honor Global Privacy Control where detected by keeping analytics and marketing storage off and keeping sale/share opt-out on. You can revisit at any time from the footer.
Some pages include YouTube or video embeds. These may connect to the video provider when you load, click, or interact with the embed, depending on the embed type. The provider may process data under its own privacy terms.
If we add new analytics, advertising, embedded media, or tracking technology later, it must remain blocked until the relevant consent is granted where required by law.
5. When We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information only as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Service providers that host the website, process forms, deliver email, provide security, process checkout and payments, calculate tax and shipping, manage order records, or support business operations, including Shopify for checkout and Mailchimp / Intuit Mailchimp for newsletter subscriptions.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16.
6. International Transfers
Meridian GMT may process information in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other locations where we or our service providers operate. When GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar transfer rules apply, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

- Contact and support messages: as long as needed to respond and maintain business records.
- Security logs: for a limited period needed to protect the site and investigate abuse.
- Privacy preference records: until replaced, deleted, or no longer needed to honor your choices.
8. Your EU/UK Privacy Rights
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal information. We aim to respond within one month, unless an extension is permitted by law.

9. United States Privacy Rights

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and verification.
10. Email Marketing
Newsletter sign-up is voluntary and requires an affirmative opt-in. We use Mailchimp / Intuit Mailchimp to collect newsletter subscriptions, maintain subscription and consent records, and deliver marketing emails. Marketing emails should include an unsubscribe option. You can also unsubscribe or withdraw consent by contacting Support@MeridianGMT.com.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, email system, or internet transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
